So to give you all a brief overview of last night.
Part of the file system has become unstable, specifically the part that stores the worlds. We have been able to copy most of the server data onto another box, however the last usable backup of the worlds is likely from back in February, so it's going to take a little bit of time today to restore all block data from between then and now.
If all goes well there should be little to no data loss, but right now we cann't be to sure.
Once I know more I will let you guys know.
Regards,
Aaron

Grrrr
So the server is back up and running, but I'm a little uneasy as we still don't yet know the exact cause of the issue, we'll be monitoring things to see how it performs.
Hi everyone, since this issue has happened twice more and is becoming more frequent (both times happening today) it's safe to assume that this is probably a hardware issue, currently I'm running some tests on the SSDs, so will update when I can.
Update, I can confirm that one of the SSDs was reported by the system as being faulty, I am in the process of requesting this be replaced by the Data Centre, and once this is done I will reconfigure thee server.
More update, defective SSD has been replaced however the partition structure seemed to have become corrupt and we are having issues re-installing the server, so will update with ore info when I can.
Not much to update but thought I would keep you guys informed, the technicians at the data centre are working on the server as it seems the issue extends further than just a defective SSD, will update here when I have more info.
So the server itself is now functional again, I also took the time to configure it with a different partition setup, which should result in more reliable storage and faster I/O, will update again later.
Server is now fully back up and running, so you should be able to connect again, just have to wait on DNS Cache refreshing around the world for everyone to be able to connect.
We are having huge issues with lag recently for the past week. and it is rather aggravating.
