New Eden is more than just a Minecraft Server, it's a whole community of gamers, programmers, anime lovers, and friends. The New Eden Community is a diverse place with a history that spans 3 generations and dates back to 2010. For more information on our history have a look at the Time Capsule.
There are currently three main ways to get more involved with the community aside from just playing Minecraft: the Forums, Discord, and Events.
The forums have long been the place the community comes together for discussion in a more formal setting. Forums such as Suggestions, Support, General Discussion, and even Ben Disputes, provide a place for constructive discussions with the occasional light-hearted discussion in the Off Topic forums.
To start participating you need an account on the website, if you don't have one you can register using the /register command in-game. For Explorers registering on the website is one of the requirements to be promoted to Builder, for more information see the Community Ranks Guide Page.
Discord is a cloud-based text and voice chat service that has apps for Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Andriod, and can run natively in your browser.
This is one of the main places where you can really get to know others in the community and for those who are looking to achieve the Senior rank it is highly recommended to be active here.

Events are run by the Community Team and are a good way to get involved with the community and have fun.
