A Guide to New Eden

Welcome to New Eden, this guide will give you a basic overview of getting started on New Eden as well as what's on offer.

Remember to check out the guides for each Realm for more in-depth information about the different game types we offer.

This page gives you a general overview of our structure and rules, check out the pages linked at the bottom of this page or on the menu at the side for more topics.

Realms

On New Eden we offer a range of different game types to play, these are split into 3 Realms Survival, Creative and Arcade.

  • Hub: The central place where everyone starts when they join New Eden, it provides a single point of entry and place to explore New Eden, for more information see The Hub Guide Page
  • Survival: offers you the choice to play PvE Survival Minecraft with many additional features including mcMMO, for more information see the Survival Guide
  • Creative: offers you the choice to play Minecraft in Creative mode, you can claim a plot and start building, for more information see the Creative Guide
  • Arcade: offers you the choice to play mini-games with friends and the community including Survival Games and Go Kart Racing, for more information see the Arcade Guide

Rules

We try to make our services and community a friendly and fun place, following these simple rules will ensure you and others have a good experience, as well as avoiding getting into trouble or banned.

  • Do not disrespect other members of the community.
  • Do not grief, steal, spam, cheat, advertise other servers or exploiting bugs.
  • Do not cause drama, or acting in any way that negatively impacts the experience of others.
  • Don't intentionally lag the server.
  • Don't build on claimed land, or change other players builds without permission.
  • Don't making our maps look ugly: leaving half cut trees, cobble shacks etc.
  • Don't lie to staff to deceive them on important decisions.
  • Don't impersonate other players, or pretending to be staff.

These rules extend to behaviour within other communities. If you are unsure if something is allowed, ask a staff member. Do not assume.
